The driving modes.
The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer plug-in hybrids offer intelligent driving modes that ensure optimal interplay between combustion engine and electric motor for every situation. For a particularly dynamic driving experience, the HYBRID mode, for example, offers an impressive system output of 245 hp* (225e xDrive).
BMW Charging.
BMW Charging offers tailor-made solutions for charging your BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with hybrid drive. In addition to the standard charging cable, the supply schedule also includes the charging cable (Mode 3) for public charging and the BMW Charging Card to offer you attractive conditions for public charging (market-specific offer).

The athletic and authoritative design of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with the large octagonal double kidney grille creates a distinctive and self-assured impression. Flush-integrated door handles emphasize the clear design. At the same time, the silhouette acquires a dynamic contour from the stretched side window graphic in combination with a flat A-pillar and precise lines.
LED headlights with iconic light design.
The highly placed optional Adaptive LED headlights create an iconic light design and offer many light functions like the dazzle-free high-beam assistant. The dark highlighting optimally exploits the three-dimensional effect.
Large panorama glass roof.
The electric panorama glass roof provides plenty of fresh air when open. Closed it provides a generous sense of spaciousness and creates an atmosphere flooded in light. In addition, it is equipped with a roller sun blind that can be simply and smoothly closed in case of intense sunlight.
Dynamic rear design.
The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer has a dynamic rear end with powerful shoulder and a contoured roof spoiler. Narrow LED rear lights on the outer edges of the rear and the brackets around the reflectors in the rear apron round off the sporty appearance.

THE NEW INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE BMW 2 SERIES ACTIVE TOURER.
The interior of the new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer appears with a progressive styling and a generous amount of space. At the same time, optimally placed storage options, optional sport seats for driver and front passenger as well as the standard backrest adjustability allow variable use and more seating comfort in the rear.
Up to 1,455 litres of luggage compartment volume.
The luggage space in the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer varies from 406 to 470 litres, depending on the model, and can be increased by adjusting the backrest angle as standard. That for example, is sufficient for two large and one medium-size suitcase. With the backrest folded down completely, this even extends to as much as 1,455 litres. In this way, you can even transport bulky objects such as a mountainbike.
Modern interior design.
The spacious interior of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is defined by its clear and modern design. In the centre of the driver-oriented cockpit is the iconic BMW Curved Display that interacts with the innovative BMW iDrive operating concept to create a completely new driving experience.
High seating comfort.
The standard seats in the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer offer a high level of seating comfort thanks to a wide range of adjustment options. These include seat height and seat length adjustment as well as backrest angle and headrest adjustment. Optional highlights are the active seats with lumbar support and massage function.

The values of fuel consumptions, CO2 emissions and energy consumptions shown were determined according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version applicable at the time of type approval. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers optional equipment and the different size of wheels and tires available on the selected model.
The CO2 efficiency specifications are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the European Regulation in its current version applicable. The values shown are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle for the classification.
When charging times are shown they can be affected by a number of factors such as type of charger, voltage supplied to the charger/car and type of current (AC or DC) supplied to the charger/car. The car also plays a role in charging times as it can be set by the driver to accept various different amperage and should preconditioning be used to heat or cool the vehicle while charging this will also affect the charging time.
The basis for the calculation of the charging times for 100 km range is the electric consumption of the vehicle based on the use of a high-Powered Charging station (HPC) or charging type and current as indicted in the literature above. The testing procedure measures are based on a 23 degrees Celsius battery start and ambient temperature with certification values excluding additional auxiliary consuming devices and systems within the vehicle such as seat heating, displays, air conditioning.
Individual consumption (fuel economy) may differ due to driving profile, vehicle load profile, auxiliary consumer usage, temperature, and ambient conditions. Consumption is based on WLTP or NEDC (whichever is indicated) best case conditions and is independently tested for BMW Group. If you are comparing this range with other models or brands make sure they are stating the same WLTP or NEDC testing regime. These results can be used to compare vehicles on a close to “like for like” basis but are unlikely to be achieved in real world conditions for reasons including temperature variation, driving conditions and the use of the auxiliary systems referred to above.
